WILLIAMS, Clara E. (nee Smotherman), of High Ridge, Missouri, was born March 5, 1927, in Shannon County, Missouri, to Clarence E. and Ethel (nee Williams) Smotherman, and entered into rest, Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home, in Kirkwood, Missouri, at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 26 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elva W. Williams, (Married July 1, 1945), one (1) sister, Velma Weaver and one (1) brother-in-law, Erman Martin. She is survived by three (3) children, Jean (Daniel) Manzelli, of South County, Missouri, Darlene (Warren) Ashwell, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, and Darrell Williams, of Cedar Hill, Missouri, ten (10) grandchildren, Jimmy Elder, Sr. and Angela Gruett, Stacey and Dave Nielsen, Aimee and Viktor Fydyuk, Matt and Chrissy Elder, Mark Elder, Michelle Williams and Rick Lages, Mendi and Jason Church, Sonja Aulbach, Matt and Theresa Manzelli, and Mike and Karen Manzelli, twenty-two (22) great-grandchildren, James (Devin) Elder, Jr., Erik Nielsen, Anna Nielsen, Lexys Elder, Alex Elder, Skyler Elder, Justin Williams, Brianna Burch, Kayela Lages, Kyle Lages, T.J. Lages, Nick Church, Nate Church, Noah Church, Kyle Aulbach, Jake Aulbach, Tiara Aulbach, Jenna Manzelli, Anna Manzelli, Nicole Duerr, Katie Manzelli, and Ethan Manzelli, one (1)great, great-grandchild, Kennedy Cina Marie Elder, three (3) siblings, Dorothy Martin, of Wynona, Missouri, Clyde (Mildred) Smotherman, of Pacific, Missouri, and Raymond (Wilma) Birchtree, Missouri, one (1) brother-in-law, Dewey Weaver, of Birchtree, Missouri, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and Grandma to all who knew her. Clara retired in 1992 from Sealed Power/Dana as an inspector. She was a member of Unity Church of St. Louis and enjoyed country music and gardening, however bowling was her passion. She was in 4 different bowling leagues and coached little kids. It was the most important thing in her life besides her family. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation Tuesday, June 3, 2008, 5-9 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Service Wednesday, June 4, 2008, 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary.
