Betty Jane Street

Betty Jane Street (nee Davis) of High Ridge, Missouri, was born October 5, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Perry and Margaret (nee Reinert) Davis and entered into rest Sunday, December 24, 2023 in High Ridge, Missouri at the age of 88 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Margaret (nee Reinert) Davis; her husband, Howard Street; sons-in-law, William “Bill” Steinlage, Robert “Bob” Ryals, and LeGrand Petty. She is survived by her children, Sandy (the late William) Steinlage of Ballwin, Missouri, Lora (Mitchell) Aguilar of Union, Missouri, Donna (Achim) Sauer of High Ridge, Missouri, and Kathy (the late Robert) of House Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Zach (Erica), Mandy (Dan), Margaret “Emmie,” Jake (Erin), Tracy “Hoopy” (Daryn), William “Fuzz,” Michael “Hockey” (Brittany), Rich (Evelin), Adrienne, Cora, and Evelyn; along with great-grandchildren Maggie, Audrey, Teddy, Claire, Haley, Maddie, Anna Mae, Ariana, Maxwell, Violet, Harper, Elliot, Aiden, and many loving cousins and friends, as well as her cat Baby Girl, her sweet and beloved companion. Betty was a devout member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Her faith played a central role in her life. She was fervently pro-life. Betty was also a proud member of the Bonhomme Federated Republican Women’s Club. She found great strength in the friendships she made there and in her last days continued to be grateful for our country, the greatest in the world. Betty leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the memories of her warmth, kindness, and the love that she shared. Her dedication to the values of God, family, and her country set a powerful example for all who were fortunate enough to know her. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in High Ridge on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
