Betty "Sue" Reiche

Betty “Sue” Reiche (nee Keith) was born on November 4, 1939 in Missouri. She passed away peacefully in her home of 56 years, on January 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the daughter of Henry “Tom” Keith and Ruth Anna Mae Keith (nee Greenlee) who preceded her in death, along with her loving and devoted husband Bob Reiche; four (4) brothers, C.H., Bob, Don & Jim Keith; three (3) sisters Beulah Detro, Pat Baker, & Peggy Worley. Sue is survived by her younger brother, Ronnie Keith; her three (3) sons, Mark A. McDonald (the late Julie), Tim L. McDonald (Tammy) and Larry J. McDonald (Diane). She was a proud grandmother to twelve (12) grandchildren & twelve (12) great grandchildren, who all held a special place in her heart. Sue was known for being firm but fair. She ensured her sons were self-reliant. Growing up she taught them to cook, do housework, and even how to shoot. Sue herself was a good shot. Her life lessons were practical, honest, and done with love. Sue worked for many years in an accounting office where her sharp mind, work ethic, and attention to detail were valued and respected. She took pride in everything she did to help provide for her family. After retirement Sue spent her time in her flower garden, enjoying her grandchildren, and going fishing with Bob, who she deeply loved. Those who knew Sue will remember her strength, her independence, and the love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she helped shape and protect. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary.
