Dautenhahn, Ben F. of High Ridge, Missouri was born February 2, 1937, in High Ridge, Missouri, to Immanuel and Stephana (nee Jirsa) Dautenhahn, and entered into rest, Friday, April 17, 2015, at his residence in High Ridge, Missouri, at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 15 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Robert Dautenhahn and a brother George Dautenhahn He is survived by, Wife of 57 years, Beverly (nee Fritz) Dautenhahn of High Ridge, Missouri, Three (3) children, Bill (Janet) Dautenhahn of High Ridge, Missouri, Bonnie Waddington of High Ridge, Missouri and Brenda (Wes) Phye of St. Clair, Missouri Seven (7) grandchildren, Bradley (Daviann), Amanda (Brad), Joshua, Zachary, Beverly, Dustin and Immanuel “Manny”, Two (2) great-grandchildren, Addyson and Hayden, Two (2) siblings, Richard Dautenhahn of High Ridge, Missouri and Virginia Horrell of High Ridge, Missouri Sister-in-law Carol Reeves of House Springs, Missouri Many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was a long time member of St Martin’s United Church of Christ of High Ridge. He was on the cemetery board, was previous President of the church council and was a member of the men’s fellowship. He collected tractors and enjoyed fishing, boating, bluegrass music and camping. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #562, former member of the Elks Lodge of High Ridge and a member of the Eagles Club of Ellington, MO. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Sunday, April 19, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Monday, April 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St Martin United Church of Christ, 3229 High Ridge Boulevard, High Ridge, MO.Interment at St Martin United Church of Christ.
