Helen Bushnell of Fenton, Missouri, was born November 3, 1939 in Lynch, Kentucky to Paul and Addie (Roberts) Hodges and entered into rest Sunday, May 05, 2024 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 84 years. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Addie (Roberts) Hodges and eleven of her twelve siblings. She is survived by her husband, Ross Smith Bushnell of Fenton, Missouri; children; Scot Bushnell of Barnhart, Missouri. Paul Bushnell of Sparks, Nevada. Hope (Bushnell) Meyers of High Ridge, Missouri and Ross David Bushnell of Fenton, Missouri. grandchildren; Parish Bushnell, Lynn Meyer, Jessica Meyer, Sierra (Meyer) Jones, Bryce Bushnell. great-grandchildren, Brock, Brayden, Khloe, and Kaitlyn, the sons and Daughters of Parish and Becca Bushnell. Samuel Lee, Elijah Ross, and Josiah Alexandar the sons of Brandon and Sierra Jones. Along with friends and extended family. Helen loved the simple things like gardening and watering her flowers, she would talk to her plants and just her love alone would take a once withering and dyeing plant back to a place where it would blossom and become strong again. She would watch her beautiful little hummingbirds fly in and out while drinking from of a feeder that still hangs in her Japanese Maple tree to this day. She would watch birds bathing themselves in her bird baths with a big smile on her face enjoying watching what she called Gods little creatures doing what they do. She would always cherish the time spent when her family would get together, either for family game nights, or outdoor movie nights, and especially on the holidays where she looked forward to just having everyone be together in close proximity so she could watch everyone laugh and love one another so she could share with everyone of what she loved, and what truly meant the most to her which was her beautiful relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
